Antri Swami Vivekananda Adibasi High School was established in the year 1964. But the Vocational Training courses in this Institute was started in the year 2006. This course was started with the aim of providing hands-on special education along with general education. Its main goal was to make the less educated boys and girls self-reliant in a short period of time.

   Our Educational Institute is located in the village area. Agriculture is the main livelihood of the people here. So we started with courses in Agriculture and Automobiles at our Vocational Training Centre. After that three more courses (Tailoring, House-wiring & Telephone Set repairing) are added to it.

   Now, in this training centre there are 4(four) separated theory class rooms and 4(four) practical class rooms. Now, two Short-Term Courses (Tailoring (now GMMFA) And Mobile Hand Set Repairing (now MSPRA)) and two Higher Secondary level courses (Agriculture and Automobile (Two -Wheeler /Three Wheeler / Four Wheeler) have done the affiliation by The West Bengal State Council Of Technical Education.

    We are thankful to Lt Rajendra Kumar Das, Mr. Mridul Pattanayak & Mr. Subrata Mahapatra who were the first faculties to continue these Vocatioanl Learning System in this School.
